1. Company Information
This service is operated by Wotaso GmbH (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our SaaS platform (the “Service”).
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
The Service is a software-as-a-service platform that helps mobile app developers manage, localize, and optimize App Store metadata. Features may include:
- Editing and managing app store metadata across locales
- AI-assisted ASO (App Store Optimization) text generation
- Bulk localization workflows
- Metadata validation
- Importing keyword data
- Publishing metadata to App Store Connect via Apple’s API
- Screenshot localization workflow integrations
We may modify, update, or improve the Service at any time.
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate information
- Keep your login credentials secure
- Be responsible for all activity under your account
You must be at least 18 years old.
4. App Store Connect Access
To use certain features, you may provide App Store Connect API credentials (e.g., API key). You confirm:
- You are authorized to use these credentials
- You are responsible for actions performed through them
We act only as a technical intermediary and are not responsible for Apple’s platform decisions.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for illegal purposes
- Attempt to access other users’ data
- Reverse engineer or disrupt the Service
- Use the Service to violate Apple’s policies
We may suspend accounts for misuse.
6. Fees and Payments
Access to the Service may require a paid subscription. Payments are processed by our payment provider.
You agree to pay all applicable fees and taxes.
Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination.
7. Refund Policy
We want you to be satisfied with the Service. If you believe you were charged in error or the Service is not functioning as described, please contact us.
Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. We may issue refunds where appropriate, including in situations such as technical issues, billing errors, or accidental duplicate payments.
Requests should be submitted within 14 days of the charge. After this period, refunds may be granted at our discretion.
Refunds may not be provided in cases of abuse, excessive usage prior to cancellation, or violation of our Terms.
This policy does not affect any mandatory statutory rights.
8. Intellectual Property
All rights in the Service, software, and content provided by us remain our property.
You retain rights to metadata and content you upload.
9. Service Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance and outages may occur.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:
- That metadata will be accepted by Apple
- App ranking improvements
- Error-free operation
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Total liability is limited to the fees paid in the last 12 months.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. Continued use means acceptance.
